24 April 2009 On Tuesday, Russian sources made a
sudden recognition that, despite the official
"cancellation" of war, military actions in Chechnya
continues.
Russian media referring to the occupation command
reported about new operation against the Mujahideen in
the mountains of Vedeno and Itum-Kali districts of
Chechnya.
Kavkaz Center's source reported that intense
fighting have been taking place for several days in
the mountainous regions of the Province of Nokhchiycho
(Ichkeria/Chechnya) of the Caucasus Emirate.
Meanwhile, the Russian sources reported that "the
operation started on the morning of April 20". Thus,
the occupational command admits the Mujahideen in
mountain areas of Ichkeria operate with same
intensity; they enter settlements, delivering blows,
carrying out sabotage raids.
Despite the fact that the puppet regime in Chechnya
has declared the "cancellation" of war "a triumph of
Putin's policy", the occupation command is more
carefully in its estimations.
The Russian mass-media reported that the generals
in Khankale claim that the Mujahideen are still
represent a serious danger. According to their data
for the first 3 months of this year the Mujahideen
carried out 16 military operations, 11 sabotage
actions, having killed and wounded 28 infidels and
apostates in the region of Vedeno only.
Considering the common practice of concealing
losses, which has long been used by the invaders, we
can assume that these data are significantly higher
than claimed. In any case, the mere recognition of the
fact that the fightings are still going on in the
mountains of Chechnya indicates that the
"cancellation" of war has become the usual propaganda
action.
The invaders claim that up to 500 Mujahideen are
operating in Chechnya who with approaching of spring
have considerably became more active.
One of the sources in Khankala even said to "Echo
of Moscow" radio that the Mujahideen are planning to
attack the Jokhar (Grozny).
Another indication that "cancellation" has nothing
to do with reality, is the fact that no one has
cancelled the so-called missions of members of the
gang of "Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia" to
Chechnya and to other regions of the Caucasus Emirate,
the "Interfax" reports.
The Russian mass-media have also reported that 2
members of FSB gang "Vympel" were eliminated in
Chechnya the other day. One of the eliminated was a
commander of the "Vympel" gang. He has been buried in
mountains of Chechnya as the helicopter could not
carry out the evacuation.
We would like to indicate thereupon that Russian
media did not report anything about the participation
of the "Vympel" gang in the operations. -- Kavkaz
