India Police Officers Gang-Rapet 80-year-old Kashmir Woman In Doda

In occupied Kashmir, an 80-year-old woman was gang-raped by the Special Police Officers (SPOs) in Doda district. The woman, was found nude and unconscious by her neighbours in her home at Mangota village in Marmat area of the district. Hundreds of people of the areas held protest demonstrations and demanded arrest of the personnel identified as Joginder Kumar and Daljeet Singh involved in the gory incident. “The personnel barged into the house of the victim, raped her and went away, leaving the victim unconscious,” the protestors told media men. » HR violatios to continue till Indian troops presence Senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader and Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Tehreek-e-Hurriyet, Syed Ali Gilani has said that incident like Shopian and Baramulla will continue to happen till Indian army and paramilitary troops are not withdrawn completely from occupied Kashmir. Gilani, who is admitted in Soura hospital under police custody for treatment, said, “Jammu and Kashmir is a police state and human rights are not respected here. The incidents like Shopian and Baramulla will continue to happen till the presence of the troopers.” Gilani, who was re-arrested by the authorities after High Court ordered his release, said that India was trying to oppress Kashmiris by force but was facing resistance from every nook and corner. “Its forces fire bullets on innocent people but that further strengthens the resolve of Kashmiris to continue their liberation struggle,” he added. Terming his re-arrest as contempt of court Gilani said, “International community should take cognisance of the situation and pressurize India to give right to self-determination to the people of Kashmir.” “People should make a difference between right and wrong and follow the right path. New dawn is awaiting us and it is the crucial juncture that demands patience and consistency,” said the ailing leader.
