The World Must Not Allow India To Continue State Terrorism Against Kashmiris

London, July 28 (KMS): The Executive Director of Kashmir Centre London, Professor Nazir Ahmed Shawl has appealed to the international human rights organisations to take cognisance of the stepped up Indian state terrorism in occupied Kashmir. Professor Nazir Ahmed Shawl in a statement said that innocent young men and women were the target of the brute force being resorted to by Indian police and troops in the occupied territory. He said that three innocent youth were killed in Tangdhar area of Karnah while women were molested in at Gundchabotra in Handwara. Professor Shawl called upon the international community to impress upon India to stop its coercive policy to suppress the people’s sentiment, adding that the United Nations should also play its dutiful role to protect the life and dignity of the suffering people in the occupied territory. The Executive Director also appealed the UN Human Rights Commissioner to send special rapporteur to take stock of the ground situation in occupied Kashmir. » Pakistan, India urged to settle Kashmir dispute Meawhile, senior APHC leader, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi has urged Pakistan and India to come forward in a big way with a real political and moral will to resolve the Kashmir dispute. Agha Al-Moosvi in a media interview in Srinagar said that dishonesty, stubbornness and colonial character of New Delhi had been the main hurdles in an amicable settlement of the dispute. On the other hand, the Governor of occupied Kashmir, N.N. Vohra, today, accepted the resignation of the puppet Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, after a senior member of the Kashmir so-called Assembly linked him with some immoral practices, surfaced in 2006. Omar submitted his resignation to the governor, who asked him to remain in office till a successor is sworn in.» Liberation struggle to continue at all cost: JKML the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League (ML) has said that the people of Kashmir will continue the liberation struggle till its logical conclusion and every type of sacrifice will be offered for the purpose. These views were expressed by the speakers while addressing various gatherings at different localities of the occupied territory during mass contact campaign of the Muslim League. The ML spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the Acting Chairman of the party, Abdul Ahmad Para, Acting General Secretary, Feroz Ahmad Khan and other party leaders addressed the gathering at Banhal, Rambin, Kolgam, Islamabad, Bandipora and Hindwara. He said that the speakers in their addresses reiterated the pledge to continue the struggle for securing the right to self-determination at all cost till its logical end. »
